Rob Pitts established Pitts West Investments with the primary objective of facilitating real estate investment ventures throughout the Western United States. PWI specializes in recognizing potential in emerging mountain markets and devising strategic plans to enhance or repurpose assets, all while ensuring attractive returns for its capital partners. It is worth noting that the acquisition and entitlement processes within these Western towns often pose notable challenges, and PWI takes pride in its proficiency in overcoming these hurdles. PWI places utmost importance on its capital partners and diligently formulates investment strategies that maximize their returns.
Rob and James lead Pitts West Investments with complementary skillsets that have driven remarkable expansion, including vertical integration through acquiring a landscaping and snow removal company and establishing a property management group. Together, they are shaping a prosperous future for PWI.

Rob Pitts founded PWI as a way to bring investors together to build much needed real estate assets across the Western United States. He has a proven and growing track record in the multi-family, hospitality, and residential space. Rob obtained his Master's Certificate of Hospitality Investment and Asset Management from Cornell University.

James Schondelmeier has always had an operational way of looking at things. Since joining PWI in August 2022, he has focused on the day to day operations of PWI's assets, freeing Rob to focus on upcoming projects. Through their combined efforts, PWI's pipeline has witnessed remarkable expansion, including a strategic foray into vertical integration.
